that the current application processing range is 6-10 months after filing. Given the current economic conditions, it would be beneficial to see the application approved rather than worry about delays.

I mailed my I-485 to NSC, CSC issued the receipts, and sent me a transfer notice (transferred to TSC). It is now pending at TSC. But the RD is the date NSC received my package.

For EB3 (All countries) to see some light, the changes made recently to the allocation of excess visa, spill over and also to over subscribed countries need to be revisited. Not sure, what triggered USCIS / DOS to revise the interpretation after so many years. Did IV had any role on this, or not .. do not know.. I ask this as based on all forum updates, IV appears to have little success in the Admin Fix area. I have posted this so many times in various threads and did not get an answer, may be there is none. If the interpretation was somewhat like before, EB2 /3 both would have got the spillover... and all would have benefited in the order of PD. Now with the new interpretation. all excess / spillover visa just goes only to 2 countries (EB2 India / China). Looking at the latest numbers based on USCIS website, China has far less cases compared in India based on the cut-off date, which is good for India (EB2), as they now consume a big chunk of the numbers and rest are left out for now. I am not sure, what is opinion on this from folks from ROW (EB3) on this. Does IV has any comment on this... Having said this, I have nothing against Eb2 or EB2 India specific, and not getting into the argument whether or not EB2 need to given much preference.. Possibly not. But it has to reach USCIS and I was thinking of getting through the liason process of the senators / congressmen.
If IV can take up this effort, then there is a channel that we can get through. But I dont think it is going to happen, because of the infights. Even if USCIS does'nt react, we can use this process to challenge the intrepretation and show them the mess that they have created. May be that will help

So on 4/23 they sent it back to TSC, and today, May 3, I got an update saying that it is now transferred to a USCIS office.
Any ideas why?
my EAD app was delivered to tx on 3/29, and I got a text on 4/6 saying it was accepted and routed to VSC. A few days later, I got the notice in the mail.

Called all of them and one of them suggested to call my local representative as well.folks in the top 3-4 of the list informed that there have been lots of ppl calling about these bills.

I will call the core team to see if they can add the age out situation to their agenda or help in anyway. There is another group American Families who are trying to get some benefit of dependent children of their spouses who age out and will try and speak with them also
If I win my cspa court case it will help many others. It does seem that the only way to get justice is to file a complaint , maybe a class action. It is so terrible that families are separated.
The aging out also applied to dependent children of people who marry USC too.
They say the CSPA is not retroactive, alos that alien must file for immigrant petition within one year of visa availability, yet it does seem all court cases have been won so far, well to my knowlege anyway
I have been separated from my son for many years and only option is court case. God knows how I will feel should I loose my case.

If you expect IV and it's members to be sympathetic to your cause - start promoting IV. First step is to add a link to IV in your website. Second would be to post about IV action Items there and encouragement to EV members to participate in IV actions. I'm sure IV will reciprocate quid pro quo.

i don't get it you are saying that members don't have to search...and yet someone has to keep it up on the home page...which is it? yes a sticky thread would have saved work and not required someone to keep it up. Why wasn't it done in the first place. When a service is supposed to be offered every week...it should be offered every week...or else there should be an announcement that is will not be offered this particular week and that it will continue next on said week.
No reason to be frustrated when people are asking simple questions...another idea would be to put the answers to the most frequently asked questions on the FAQ page...which does not work right now....so that you don't have to repeat the answers.
Its an easy solution i think.
Giving a long lecture of frustration is not the best way to attract people to an organisation.
Think about it...do u go buy clothes from a store that voices their frustrations about the prices of raw material...of do u go buy it because they were nice to you...had great customer service...nice selection of goods...and fair prices.
I am sorry but working for hours on end alone, voicing frustration at lack of participation, treating members like they are morons for not being able to find supposedly simple things is a really terrible way to attract more people to an organisation. The cause may be noble...but who will wanna join some organisation where people just complain about how miserable things are.
Please pause for a moment and think about what i am saying. This is exactly why you have less participation and less donation. IV needs to transform into a vibrant fun place to be while still upholding the noble cause.
This is just unbelievable nitpicking. Completely unproductive.
A "grassroots" organization like IV is what its members come to the table with - making it fun etc. is also dependent on the members - not some specific, designated individuals.

No. The I-129 is submitted by your employer. Your leaving the country does not affect the H1 petition.
Only the COS will not be automatic in October, and you will need to get stamping or re-submit I-539 to validate your H1.
